Geared for experienced Tableau, Tableau Desktop II / Intermediate Tableau Desktop is a two-day, lab intensive hands-on course that provides participants with the intermediate and beyond level skills required to develop complex visualizations, and to combine them in more advanced-level interactive dashboards. Although the base list of topics is similar to the Tableau Desktop course, the Intermediate course will dive deeper into the advanced skills within each topic and visualization to provide you with the skills required for advanced level work. This course is not for beginners or those new to Tableau.

This skills-focused course combines expert lecture, real-world demonstrations and group discussions with machine-based practical labs and exercises. Working in a hands-on learning environment led by our expert facilitator, students will:
- Use next-level features within the Tableau interface / paradigm to effectively create powerful, advanced level visualizations
- Create advanced calculations including string manipulation, basic arithmetic calculations, custom aggregations and ratios, date math, logic statements and quick table calculations
- Use groups, bins, hierarchies, sorts, sets, and filters to create focused, effective and advanced -level visualizations
- Use Measure Name and Measure Value fields to create visualizations with multiple measures and dimensions.
- Share visualizations with others, combining visualizations into Interactive Dashboards and publish them to the web.
